Repair Tables in phpMyAdmin

Once I was greeted with an “Error establishing a Database Connection” message, despite nothing being changed on the website (ftp, cpanel, etc) in several months.

Within phpMyAdmin, a #145 – Table is marked as crashed and should be repaired message would display for various tables selected.

WordPress database tables, have MyISAM support, and can be repaired very easily by navigating to the Database Structure, checking all tables, and choosing Repair Table from the drop down located below the table listing.
